Commitment to Value
At Divine Ammonite we too feel the rising costs of what seems to be everything. This can place quite a lot of stress on many items, not the least to say luxury goods such as jewelry and especially precious metals such as gold or silver. The costs of precious metals rose approximately 20% in 2024 and is expected to stay high in 2025.
We feel we need to do everything we can to make our products as affordable as possible. To this end we have set standards that will assist in achieving that goal.
We cut all our gemstones as thin as reasonably possible while still maintaining strength. This means that less precious metal will be required by the jeweler to mount our gemstones. As an example, the thicker the gem the higher the wall of a bezel mount must be, and the more metal required.
Also, we polish all the matrix backs of our gemstones to make them as attractive as possible. This allows the jeweler to build open back mounts rather than solid backs. This requires much less metal and the exposed back of the gemstone will still be pleasing when seen.
These standards also reduce the overall weight of the finished piece, making it more comfortable and less restrictive for everyday wear.
We feel it is our responsibility to minimize the cost to mount our gemstones while still providing the best quality product we can offer. We will continue seek out further ways to do even more in the future.
